Netherlands Fines Streamer LeftlanePapi €25,000 for Promoting Unlicensed iGaming Operators

The Dutch Gambling Authority (Kansspelautoriteit, KSA) has initiated enforcement proceedings to collect €25,000 from streamer “LeftlanePapi” over the continued promotion of offshore, unlicensed iGaming operators.

On 18 June 2025, the KSA issued a cease-and-desist order carrying a penalty of €25,000 per violation, capped at €75,000, and instructed the streamer to halt all advertising activity. During a follow-up review on 28 July, the authority found that the streamer had continued the unlawful promotion, disregarding the order.

The KSA has granted LeftlanePapi an additional six weeks to pay the €25,000. The regulator noted that further violations could trigger additional penalties of up to €50,000.

The KSA first recorded violations in April 2025, when the streamer broadcast gameplay on Skyhills.com, an operator without a Dutch licence.
